GodSquad Weekly Ministry Tip

March 5, 2009

Do People Know Where to Find You?

This week we want you to focus on an important but sometimes left behind strategy. During the first couple weeks of classes we might work hard on this but then we forget to keep it going. It is called exposure. Do you have your weekly meeting/Bible study posters up in important areas all over campus? If someone were looking for you would they be able to find you?

There are many personal testimonies of people getting involved in the ministry just because they first saw a poster and decided to come to the meeting. Not because someone invited them first. Be creative and find every possible location that you could advertise your ministry. God does use all kinds of avenues to attract people and posters can play an important part.

Do you have the freedom to draw up a banner and place across the bridge in the entrance to the campus? What about bus stops, major academic buildings, athletics buildings, bookstore, cafeteria or commons on campus, bathrooms, individual classrooms (try a chalk strategy where you write on the board), computer lab door? There are so many locations that you can creatively reach people with posters, flyers, business cards, banners, sandwich boards or _____. Help people to find you.

Here are some resources on the GodSquad but feel free to make your own creative poster.

Talk to you next week,
