GodSquad Weekly Ministry Tip

September 2, 2008

Remember your goal the first week or two of classes is to meet the maximum number of students by doing surveys with giveaways, or a big opening party or something that allows you to connect with students.  Be sure that if you’re not doing a survey, that you use some kind of contact card, visitors list, or raffle so you can get back together with students who may be interested.  This is really key.

Follow-up

As efficiently and effectively as you can, invite those who are interested to your weekly meeting/Bible study.  Use the phone to get together with students one-on-one, invite them through email, Facebook, text messaging or whatever other creative way you can think of.

Keep Publicity Strong

Always insure that posters are up all over campuses with the permission of the administration.  Some students will come to your meetings because their curiosity was raised just by looking at a poster.  If you don’t see the posters of your meetings on campus, print them now and tack them up  everywhere you’re allowed to place them.  Print up flyers and pass out in your classrooms and where ever students meet.
