Pre-flight Checklist for the Summer

As you head off into the summer there are a number of check list items you want to make sure you've considered before you go.  Just like a pilot doing a pre flight check of his aircraft, we also want to make sure we're ready.  Here's a partial checklist:

1. Set up for the end of the year party.  Be sure to collect everyone's email/Facebook/Myspace information along with their cell number so you can stay in touch over the summer.
2. Be sure you're fully prepared for the fall before you also leave.  Are you fully set up for the first week of classes in August/September?  Have you reserved survey tables and locations?
3. Is your weekly meeting room reserved for the fall semester?
4. Are you able to print off posters now for the fall?   Print surveys, flyers or anything else that needs printing.  
5. Have you planned a date for your mini leadership retreat to plan carefully for the fall semester?
6. Have you planned out what you will study for your weekly Bible studies or weekly meetings in the fall?  Bring in any guest speakers?
7. Have you thought about raising up some funds for your school year? (see last weeks tip)
