weekly ministry tips
As you begin to think about the next steps for your Bible study content, let us encourage you in three important areas:
Limited Time to Make the Most of Your Bible Studies
Your semester can go really fast and the amount of time you actually have to train and disciple your key students is limited. Some questions to ask is "Am I covering the most important topics first before I go on to other Bible study ideas?" “Are all the students involved in the movement grounded in the basics?” “Are all the students really prepared to live a victorious Christian life?”
The Essentials Factor
The Essentials Bible study series would be important for you to take a careful look at. Here’s what Steve Douglass, president of Campus Crusade and writer of the series, has to say: “The Essentials of Spiritual Growth and Multiplication is designed to help students grow in Christ and become involved in ministry and multiplication as soon as possible.
All 24 lessons encourage students to see change in their lives and tell others about what they are learning. One group leader said, ‘This is so easy, anyone could lead it.’” Part I is “The DNA of the Christian life and the ministry of CCC.” Part II is “Knowing and responding to God in more depth.”
Check out the entire study here and find out how easy it is to teach and how powerful the lessons can be:
Transferability: Copy Yourself
An important benefit to this series is that you can not only teach it to others, but you can also train them how to teach it. Then you can let them lead their own study. This study helps with maximum transferability and allows you to “copy” or duplicate yourself. That’s part of what a movement is all about.
Talk to you next week,
