This week be sure to gather everyone’s phone numbers and email addresses so you can stay in touch over the Christmas break. You will also need this information for those going to the Christmas conference so you can arrange rides.

Be sure to gather with your leadership team to nail down many details for the Spring semester and any rooms you need to reserve for your weekly meetings/Bible studies.

This Could Be your Big December Outreach!

"The Nativity, a movie about the Virgin Mary is now out in theaters. You can view the trailer on the movie website, http://thenativitystory.com/ . I would recommend going to the web site and looking at the Flash versions of the comments by the Screenwriter and Director. It will give you a sense of where they are coming from, and how the story was developed for the screen.

Think about the fact that at Christmas time, you can ask questions that you can't ask any other time of year. It is our holiday. Invite your friends to see it.

After the movie, go to Starbucks and have a conversation about the movie, the circumstances of His birth, Mary's response to being pregnant. It is an amazing story, ask them where they are on their journey? Who do they identify with from the film? Be prepared to share the gospel with them. Enjoy the evening. That's what I would recommend.”
