The following sample letter will give you some ideas about approaching your student government or activities to ask for scholarship money to send your leadership team your regional Christmas Conference.

The student leadership of Campus Crusade for Christ has been asked to attend a regional Student Leadership Conference in San Diego from December 27, 2003 to January 1, 2004. About 1500 students from California, Arizona and Hawaii will be attending the five day regional Conference.
The Conference will be an opportunity for our student leadership to:
- interact with student leaders from other campuses, including larger four year schools
- attend workshops and seminars on small group leadership, conflict resolution, public speaking group organization, and time management
- learn about summer internship opportunities
- plan for next semester on our campus
- participate in distributing food in a needy community during an afternoon service project
The Conference is well supervised and is designed to give student leaders the information we need to successful develop our group here on campus.
The cost of the Conference, per diem for five days, and transportation is approximately $220 per person. This year we hope to take 5 leaders to the Conference and we are asking you to consider granting our group a $1100 scholarship.
Campus Crusade for Christ is a nationally recognized student organization designed to help students develop socially, academically, and spiritually. As a club on campus, we are excited about this opportunity to attend this regional Leadership Conference.
