Spring break opportunity
Soon over 400,000 college students will be gathering in Panama City Beach, FL for spring break. This year in light of the earthquake tragedy in Haiti, we are teaming with Good News, Good Deeds, GAIN and Kids against Hunger for five weeks at Big Break to make one million meals for one million Haitians.
We will call upon the spring breakers of Panama City Beach to work alongside of our students to assemble over one million meals. Our students will guide the assembly efforts as well as have the opportunity to share their faith with spring breakers as they work side by side. The focus of Big Break is still evangelism but we will designate a few of our afternoons to the Haiti relief efforts.
We are very excited about the impact that will result from these efforts. Last year at Big Break alone we saw 1,288 people pray to receive Christ and 764 pray to be filled with the Holy Spirit. This year with the added relief efforts we have the potential to celebrate even more coming to a saving knowledge of Jesus. We pray that you will take this chance to recruit as many friends as possible as we change the face of spring break this year.
